During late February and
March, several area maple sugaring houses offer tours, demonstrations and
special events. Sap flow and boiling rely on local weather conditions, so it
is important to call ahead to confirm that activities will be taking place.
Some tours are outside, so please dress accordingly. The Mass Maple
Producers Association has a directory of sugarhouses open to the public, as
well as recipes, educational materials and other information. Contact them
